Everyone told me that high school is the best 4
years of your life, now being a junior and thinking about next and the last
couple years I would have to say I agree. My freshman year was crazy to say the
least, lot of ups and downs things you wouldn't expect. That year we did some
crazy things I was in freshman academy which is a class for kids who had missed
a lot of school or had bad grades in years past. Basically we were with the same
people all day. And a teacher followed us around to keep us on tract. some of
the big things that happened, were the whole class got in trouble for pulling a
fire alarm in the gym and none would own up to it. also the all the dumb things
the boys did in my class like spraying their arms with axe and lighting it on
fire, bringing alcohol to school, smoking in the stairwell and many others. But
one of the biggest things that affected my class was the loss of former BT
student Nick Picolo. Lots of people in my class were close with him one of his
best friends Cody Harris was in my class and he was devastated. That’s just one of the many things will remember freshman year.
My sophomore year was nothing really, didn't have
much going on that year I was just getting used to how the high school ran
without Mrs. Sutherland holding my hand, and helping me and directing me through my day. it was all me that year had no one to depend on but myself. That was a really long year for me because
that's when we got some really bad news about my grandpa. He was diagnosed with
pancreatic cancer it was a heard few months I missed a lot of school and was
behind in my classes. He was diagnosed with stage two and with only less than one
month to live its crazy to think there is nothing they could do for him. After one month of crazy ups and downs, he passed away on March ninth, he lived up his last day the doctor said he would. He was a very strong person and fought hard it was roughly a month ago to this
year. And that is one of the clearest and strongest memories that will stay with
me from that year.
My junior year is still going on and it has been
nothing but great, I've had good classes and friends I'm thrilled but scared to
be a senior next year. And amazed to be graduating in a year. And I hope senior
year is as fun as its talked up to be.
